Local Fundraising Opportunity: Parents United Salem Common Playground

I wanted to share a great opportunity to make a fun impact on the Salem Community. A fantastic parents group, called Parents United here in Salem, MA, is working to put the final fundraising touches on a brand new and beautiful playground to replace our aging and sad one in Salem Common. For many families who live in Salem, as in other urban communities, the Salem Common is our backyard.  But this playground will also be an amazing asset to the community as we try to attract visitors and tourists to our great city to spend the day and enjoy all that there is to offer.

We all have the opportunity to make an impact in this playground effort by making a donation and Parents United has come up with a fantastic and affordable donation option — Donate a brick inscribed with a message of your choosing. I’ll be so excited when Mazie and I head to the playground and she runs around to find her very own brick. Seed Stitch will also have a brick as part of our commitment to the community of which we are a part.
