- Next We just HAD to have this – Glow in the dark yarn
When I saw this video I was simply amazed! What an wonderful homage to the craft of crochet. Now I warn you there is a lot of math discussion in this talk, but just absorb and be wowed that as a knitter or crocheter you are using these complex math concepts without even knowing it.
Aren’t you inspired to pick up a hook and some yarn and make your very own coral reef?

this is great! mixing math, science, and needlework pretty much does it for me.
I’m speechless. Even working in MIT’s Mathematics, I’m awestruck.
Wow – as a avid neeedworker, physics and math major, AND erstwhile SCUBA diver, this is ringing all my chimes. Let’s start hooking our very own coral reef here in Salem/Marblehead! Maybe we can get PEM and Salem State and local schools involved.I want to make a nudibranch, hyperbolic gills and all!
